“I have found life an enjoyable, enchanting, active, and sometime terrifying experience, and I've enjoyed it completely. A lament in one ear, maybe, but always a song in the other.”

“i am not sorry about the parts of me that no longer exist that you still romanticize. i am not sorry about the versions of myself that expired that you still hold on to. i am only sorry that you haven’t grown since the last time you knew me. my growth owes you no apologies.”

“My goal is to pray so much and so often I pray with out realizing it. I want talk to God and learn how to tap in to a relationship. I want to hear His thoughts and I want to laugh with Him. I want to pray so much that it is like talking to my best friend.”

— 90/365 reasons to pray // in-a-sweater-poorly-knit (via worshipgifs)

It’s easy to get into bad thought patterns, but I believe that if we daily renew our minds & focus on God’s word, we can contend with the enemy’s lies. It starts by knowing who we are and what we have in Christ. THAT is the key to setting our course and staying on track every day. We have to think God’s truth and say it daily—because it is only the truth we know that sets us free. And the only way to know God’s Word is to read it, meditate on it, study it and apply it to our everyday lives.- Christine Caine

I pray that whoever reads this, God heals whatever is hurting you.

TO THE WOMAN OF GOD:

Be an ESTHER, bold and courageous enough to stand for the truth, to voice your opinion and fight for the good of others, even when it means to sacrifice yourself. If God has put you in a position, it is for a purpose. Never be afraid to heed that inner voice.

Be a RUTH, loyal in all your relationships, walk the extra mile and don’t quit when things get tough. Someday, you’ll see why it was all worth the effort.

Be a LYDIA, let your homes be open, let your hands be generous, let your hearts be big enough to help anyone in need. Joy is greatest when shared.

Be a HANNAH, never cease to pray. It will never be in vain.

Be a MARY, humble and submissive. You don’t have to be great for God to use you, you just need to obey.

Be a DORCAS, use your talents, however small it may seem to bring a smile on someone’s face. You’ll never know how much it can mean to someone.

Be an ABIGAIL, remember how each decision can turn your life around for good or bad. Be wise.

Be an ELIZABETH, never doubt what God can do. He is the God of many miracles.

Be a MARY MAGDALENE, never let your mistakes and judgments of other people stop you from experiencing the joy of Jehovah.

Be a REBEKAH, never forget that true beauty lies within. Draw all your loved ones closer to God through your Christ-like character.

Lastly be a SARAH, age doesn’t matter. Trust & believe that all things are possible with God according to His time.

“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” - Proverbs 31:25

godfirstgodalways:

I believe anxiety often stems from depending too much on your own strength…even if you think you’re already so weak. “I’m so weak” is actually your way of trying to protect your ego. “I’m so weak” wants you to believe you have no ounce of pride left. Oh but you do. You’re weak because you’re not trusting Him, you’re trusting yourself. As long as you’re struggling, you haven’t really surrendered every ounce. You haven’t really realized that your pride is the one killing you. But once you put that pride down through complete surrender, you see just how disobedient you were towards God in not trusting Him sooner. The feeling of being weak is the result of your disobedience. The more you’re into yourself, the less likely you are to let go and let God. STRUGGLING STOPS WHEN YOU CHOOSE TO SURRENDER. Like every second.

GOD HAS A VERSE FOR THIS. “…WHEN I AM WEAK THEN I AM STRONG” HE KNOWS WE ARE NOT PERFECT, BUT ONCE WE REMIND OURSELVES WE CAN GAIN STRENGTH IN HIM, THAT’S HOW WE BEGIN TO UNDERSTAND ALL OVER AGAIN HOW HE CAN TURN OUR SORROWS INTO JOY. LEARN TO LOVE YOUR DIFFICULTIES BECAUSE YOU KNOW IN THE END IT MAKES YOU STRONGER, WISER, AND MORE CONFIDENT. :)

2 Corinthians 12:10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Matthew 16:24-25 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. “For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.

John 3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease.”

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.
